Travel Guide Checklist
We look forward to having you join us in Isla Mujeres to celebrate our extended wedding weekend! Without the support of our family and friends, we would not be who we are today, or have found one another. Being surrounded by all of you means the world to us and for that we are truly grateful. We hope to see you at I M P R E S S I O N by Secrets in Isla Mujeres.
Step Two:

You will be expected to pay a $100.00 deposit in order to reserve your suite. This deposit is fully refundable until May 30th, 2024 and your final payment will be due July 29th, 2024

*REMINDER: this resort is on the smaller end so DO NOT WAIT TO BOOK!*
Wedding is October 5th, 2024. You must book 3 nights minimum. We will be at the resort from October 1st-8th, 2024 and we believe most people will book October 2nd-6th. However PLEASE come and stay as long as you want!

Step Three:
Discuss and book airfare with Glenna!
She will be able to get the best airfare rates that also include transfers to and from the airport so we HIGHLY recommend booking through her.
You will be flying into Cancun International Airport
Step Four:
Instructions for arrival

On your flight to Cancun, you will be provided immigration and customs declaration forms on the plane and should fill them out during the flight

When you land, you will go directly from the arrival gate to immigration processing

After immigration processing you will collect your luggage and head towards the customs checkpoint

After passing through customs checkpoint there will be ATMs, currency exchange booths, and bathrooms that we recommend taking advantage of -- this will be your last opportunity to use the bathroom and get cash before leaving the airport

Once you leave the inside of the airport and walk out towards the transportation lot, you will be approached by many employees of private companies trying to get you to purchase their transportation option. Ignore every single one of these advances. You will continue outside until you see your name, the company name, or a sign that says I M P R E S S I O N by Secrets. Here you will tell them your name and destination as you provided when you set up your transportation prior to your trip. They will then escort you to the vehicle, pack up your luggage, offer you a cold beverage, and you will be on your way to the marina! Expect the bus ride to be about 30 minutes.

Once you arrive to the marina you will again provide them with your name and your luggage will be unloaded. Once the boat arrives your luggage with be loaded onto it and finally off to the resort you go! Expect a 30-45 minute boat ride. Drinks will be provided and possibly a restroom. The boat will drop you off right in front of the resort and here you will be greeted by your butler. Now your vacation has finally started!
